2 Weeks to Go

My first book is coming out in less than 2 weeks and I have to say, it’s kind of surreal.  My husband, J, asked if I’m nervous, it’s a big step but I can’t really wrap my head around the fact that a year ago, this was just an idea I had for a story and now it’s going to be available for people all over the world to buy.

I think the thing I’m feeling most is hopefulness.  It’s taken me a long time to figure out what I want to be, what my passion is and now that I know, it feels like things are falling into place.  I loved writing this book, even on the days I was tired and didn’t feel like it and since I finished it, I’ve been steadily working on other projects.  But I have to say, your first book holds a special place in your heart.
